Template License

Updated July 2026

By purchasing a product from Event Kit, you agree to the terms below. These terms work alongside our Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service.

What You Can Do

Each purchase is licensed to one business or sole operator, meaning the individual or small team operating under a single business name. You can use, edit, and reuse your purchased templates as often as you need, across every client, event, and project your business handles.

This license covers the source template file, the version you download and edit. It does not limit what you do with the document you create from it. For example, if you fill in a Volunteer Waiver Form, send a Photographer Contract, or hand a Run Sheet to your team on event day, that finished document is yours to use and share however your work requires. What stays restricted is the blank, editable file itself, which can't be passed on to anyone outside your business who hasn't purchased their own license.

If more than one business or event company will be using the same purchased files, each needs its own license, available for separate purchase.

What You Can't Do

You may not:

  • Share, distribute, or copy the source template files to anyone outside your business

  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your license to another person or business

  • Claim the template design or structure as your own work

  • Use Event Kit templates as the basis for a competing product, course, or service

  • Republish or redistribute the templates, in whole or in part, on any other platform or marketplace

  • Use Event Kit templates, or substantial parts of them, to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models, or to build a competing AI-generated product.

This doesn't restrict the use of third-party AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Google Gemini, to help you complete, draft, or adapt your purchased templates. Many Event Kit templates include built-in AI prompts designed for exactly that.

We may revoke your license if these terms are breached.

Technical Requirements

Event Kit products are supplied as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PDF, and Microsoft PowerPoint files, delivered as a digital download in a compressed .zip file. No physical products are shipped.

You'll need software capable of opening these formats, such as Microsoft Office, Apple iWork, or Adobe Acrobat, to access and edit your templates.

Event Kit may update, retire, or change the price, content, or availability of any product at any time, without notice.

Template Support

We're glad to help with issues related to accessing or using your purchased files. Reach us by email, and we aim to respond within two business days, Monday to Friday.

Support doesn't include general event planning advice, technical support for your own devices or software, customization of templates, or training in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, or other third-party software.

Access and Updates

Once downloaded, your files are yours to keep and use indefinitely. Event Kit doesn't guarantee ongoing access to download files again, future updates, or the continued availability of any product, especially if it's later retired or removed from the store.

Refunds

Our products are digital and delivered instantly, so we don't offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Please review product descriptions and previews carefully before buying.

If you receive the wrong file or your download is corrupted or unusable, contact us, and we'll fix it by either sending a working file or issuing a refund.

Images and Third-Party Content

Any photographs, icons, or graphics shown within a template are for demonstration purposes only and remain the property of their original creators. Replace these with your own appropriately licensed content before publishing or using a template commercially.

Pricing

All prices on the Event Kit website are listed in United States Dollars (USD).
