Rachella Thomas is an award-winning event producer, consultant and founder of Event Kit, with more than 26 years’ experience producing major events, festivals, public programs and corporate projects across Australia.

Her career has spanned large-scale outdoor events, mass participation programs, crowds in the hundreds of thousands and multimillion-dollar event budgets. Her portfolio includes work with some of Australia’s best-known events and organisations, including the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton Relay, Australian Open, Royal Melbourne Show, Moomba Festival and Jayco Herald Sun Tour.

Rachella went on to build and lead her own event agency, working across strategy, creative development and event delivery while developing the systems and processes that became the backbone of her work.

In 2020, she transformed that experience into Event Kit, a professional toolkit studio built around the practical side of event planning. Its library of more than 150 templates, guides and planning tools draws directly on the systems she developed and used throughout her career.

Today, Rachella shares that experience with the next generation of event planners and professionals, alongside select event consulting and mentoring engagements.
