Project Summary
The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is an internationally renowned culinary event held in Australia each year. This hallmark event showcases the city's vibrant food and wine culture through a variety of tastings, cooking demonstrations, workshops and unique dining experiences. Food and Wine Victoria engaged Event Kit to provide full-service event management for the extensive free public major event program to launch the official Opening Weekend.

Our goal was to produce a festival that reflected the world-class brand.
For this project, Food and Wine Victoria engaged Event Kit as a full-service agency to produce the festival’s free public major event program. Our goal with this project was to showcase the best offerings from Victoria’s top chefs and producers, while providing a safe and well-considered major event experience for all involved.

The results.
The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival has evolved into a gastronomic spectacular with over 300 culinary events attracting hundreds of thousands of people all over Melbourne and Victoria. From the iconic World’s Longest Lunch through to River Graze and City Cellar, we delivered a festival that retained its place in the gourmet imaginations of the world. Our involvement in the festival focused on creating incredible events and experiences, many of which we have developed year in-year out since 2007.
