What is Event Kit? The Story Behind it.
Mass participation festivals. Major public events. The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, the Commonwealth Games, the Australian Open, the Royal Melbourne Show. Crowds in the hundreds of thousands. Budgets in the millions.
I've been running events like this since 2000. I loved every bit of it.
But years of working at that pace and under that pressure nearly broke me. Burnout has a way of forcing clarity. The clarity, in my case, was sitting right in front of me. For years, alongside the events themselves, I'd been searching for quality planning tools for my clients and couldn't find any. So I built my own.
Frameworks, templates, systems that actually reflected how events are delivered in the real world, not how textbooks say they should be.
When burnout hit, the answer was obvious. I had decades of knowledge, a library of tools that worked, and a genuine desire to help other planners do this well. Why keep it to myself?
That's why I launched Event Kit.
It's a collection of planning tools and templates built on the same systems I used to deliver events at the highest level. Not theory. Not blank templates. My actual knowledge, already built in.
Most of what exists out there is generic.
Starter kits with no real thinking behind them, or consulting programs that cost more than most event budgets. Event Kit sits in the gap: expert-level tools, available to anyone, at a price that makes sense.
